A Chicago native, Juneitha Shambee has built her career on an unwavering commitment to justice and an equally unwavering tenacity in the courtroom. As founder of her own practice, she takes on cases that many attorneys shy away from — going head-to-head with major firms and institutions on behalf of everyday people. Her commitment to justice extends well beyond the courtroom and into the communities she serves.

Juneitha is active in her community, having served in several appointed roles on city committees and commissions over the years. Her service includes the Minority, Women, Disadvantaged, and Evanston Business Enterprises Development Committee (MWEBE) and the Citizen Police Review Commission, where she also served as chairperson. She is also committed to lifting up the next generation, serving as a mentor to young people and speaking at schools, youth detention centers, and Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) events. She gives back directly to DCFS as well, taking on work for the agency when needed.

Juneitha's practice centers on civil rights, criminal defense, and personal injury. She has secured significant settlements for clients in disputes against powerful opposing parties, and has successfully defended the accused — winning dismissals at the earliest stages of a case and, when a case goes the distance, fighting tenaciously to bring wrongly accused clients home.
